I have known from a young age that education was my calling. Growing up in Northern California, I developed a deep appreciation for learning, community, and service. I am proud of my Latina heritage and the accomplishment of being a first-generation college graduate.
After several years in Catholic education, I expanded my experience in public education, and taught in several local school districts for 14 years.
Following my doctoral studies, I served as Principal of Remington Traditional School in the Pattonville School District and Ross Elementary in the Parkway School.
Outside of my professional life, my greatest joy is my family. When I am not serving my school community, I enjoy spending time with my children, traveling with my better half and hanging with our German Shepherd, Bella.
