Protecting God's Children

We are so grateful for the many opportunities to volunteer at Sacred Heart Parish and BOTH of our parish schools—everyone who volunteers must have completed the Protecting God’s Children workshop and also Prevent and Protect. If you have taken the workshop, or Prevent and Protect, you do not need to do it again. However, if you have not, please follow these steps to comply:

Go to:  https://www.preventandprotectstl.org

1. Click on Register (below the Login button).

2. Enter the passcode stlprotect.

3. Locate the drop-down arrow for Sacred Heart Florissant/Blessed Teresa of Calcutta as your place to volunteer.   

4. Register by completing all your personal information using your first and last name as it appears on your Driver’s License or Social Security card.

5. Create a username and password.

6. Agree to the terms of use. Click Submit.

7. Enter all information for background screening and agree to the screening.

8. Register for a Protecting God’s Children Workshop

             (only if you have not already taken this).

1. Watch two online training videos and answer the questions for each video.

2. Finally, read the Code of Ethical Conduct from the archdiocese, then go to the bottom of the page and click agree to follow this code.
