Student Life
At Blessed Teresa of Calcutta School, we nurture the whole child—academically, spiritually, and socially. Guided by our core virtues of Respect, Responsibility, and Kindness, students build strong relationships, take on challenges with confidence, and grow as active members of their community. In a safe, supportive environment, they develop character, leadership, and essential life skills that prepare them for success in and beyond the classroom.
Curriculum
At Blessed Teresa of Calcutta School, our K–8 curriculum inspires students to learn, grow, and excel. A strong foundation in Math, Reading, Writing, Handwriting, and Spelling builds the skills and confidence needed for lifelong success.
Through hands-on Science, STEM, and Social Studies experiences, students explore the world, develop critical thinking skills, and gain a deeper understanding of history, culture, and community.
Rooted in Catholic values, our Religion program fosters spiritual growth through prayer, scripture, service, and faith-centered learning. By combining academic excellence with character formation, BTC prepares students to thrive in the classroom, in their communities, and in life.
Practical Arts
At BTC, students enjoy weekly classes in Technology, Physical Education, Art, and Music, enriching their educational experience beyond the core curriculum. Technology instruction builds essential digital skills, while Physical Education promotes healthy habits, teamwork, and lifelong fitness.
Our Art and Music programs play a vital role in fostering creativity, self-expression, and an appreciation for the arts. Through these enriching experiences, students develop imagination, confidence, and critical thinking skills that support success both inside and outside the classroom.
By nurturing the whole child—academically, creatively, physically, and spiritually—BTC provides a well-rounded education that inspires a lifelong love of learning.
Service
At Blessed Teresa of Calcutta School, we believe that service is an essential part of education and faith. Students are encouraged to participate in a variety of service opportunities throughout the year, both within the school and in the wider community. From helping classmates and organizing school-wide projects to supporting local charities and outreach programs, students learn the value of giving back, compassion, and making a positive difference in the lives of others. These experiences help them grow as responsible, caring, and socially aware individuals.
Activities and Clubs
At Blessed Teresa of Calcutta School, students have the opportunity to
participate in athletics including
soccer, basketball, and golf, helping them develop teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. Beyond sports, BTC offers a variety of
after-school programs to engage students’ interests and talents, including
Running Club, Robotics, Chess Club, and Drama. These activities provide fun, hands-on learning experiences, encourage creativity and problem-solving, and help students build friendships while exploring new skills outside the classroom.
